I made 40 posts during my blogging challenge.
I have three school based comments.
I have 18 comments.
The post that received the most comments was the glowing with pride post.
I did not change my blog theme.
I have the two widgets that were required for one of the challenges.
I have at least one comment from an overseas student per two posts.
My first impressions on blogging were that it was hard an that I was going to hate it. I now like it.
The things that captured my attention the most are things that I can relate to.
I can try to keep my posts short and relatable.
I did visit all the challenge blogs and examples on things like that.
The challenge that I thought was the most useful would be challenge 8 activity 2 because it taught me how to make links.
the challenge that was the starting my glog challenge. taught me how to make glogs.
Other topics that could be -favorite food -favorite animal -favorite subject in school.
No- if the visit these posts were more descriptive it would be more useful but for ones like that meme post. I was confused.
I don’t think that installing avatars was easy. Eventually I got it but it took awhile.
I don’t think that there were enough chances to visit foreign blogs.
I think that there were just enough activities in each of the challenges, but some were harder than others so I think it would be easier if there was less to do for that challenge but there were harder things to do!
I did not make global connections. I tried to and wanted to so that I could learn more about other people and wherever they live. But I didn’t.
This is a post about anything that I want! Hmmmmmm… CHOCOLATE!!
This is a post about chocolate. There are many different kinds of chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, strawberry chocolate and the best of all white chocolate! For my grandma’s birthday she took my family and my cousins) to a chocolate factory. There we learned about the origin of chocolate and even tasted some. what is your favorite kind of chocolate?
I think that it would be really cool if there was a chocolate fountain! I’m going to put one of those in my future house! I learned that white chocolate is the unhealthiest chocolate for you. But it is the tastiest! The best chocolate for you is dark chocolate, for me that is the worst tasting chocolate on the planet. But the rest of my family LOVES it!!! :p :0 🙂
This is the link for my video on chocolate: <object id=”vp1caJcJ” width=”432″ height=”240″ classid=”clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000″><param name=”movie” value=”http://static.animoto.com/swf/w.swf?w=swf/vp1&e=1306436720&f=caJcJrgM8qIEwdd9RM2wqA&d=36&m=b&r=240p&volume=100&start_res=240p&i=m&options=”></param><param name=”allowFullScreen” value=”true”></param><param name=”allowscriptaccess” value=”always”></param><embed id=”vp1caJcJ” src=”http://static.animoto.com/swf/w.swf?w=swf/vp1&e=1306436720&f=caJcJrgM8qIEwdd9RM2wqA&d=36&m=b&r=240p&volume=100&start_res=240p&i=m&options=” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” allowscriptaccess=”always” allowfullscreen=”true” width=”432″ height=”240″></embed></object><p>Create your own <a href=”http://animoto.com”>video slideshow</a> at animoto.com.</p>
The worst thing that has happened to me would be being born with seizures. When I was in first grade, my parents and teacher noticed that something was wrong with the way that I participated in class. They noticed that I would erase all my homework and that I couldn’t put words like cat, hat and mat in alphabetical order. When the other students noticed that I was acting weird in class they made fun of me for it! At that time I went to a small private school that word got around fast! Every day when I walked into the classroom (and the teacher left) they would say things like “hey, look I’m as dumb as her” and then make actions like they had mental issues. When I would come back from a test to see how my seizures were improving I would still have glue on my head from gluing the wires on, to see my brain waves. the kids at the school would claim that I had dandruff and that I was contagious. I put up with that torture from the middle of first grade to the end of fourth grade. After fourth grade I switched schools, and to this day I AM SEIZURE FREE!!!
Some of the options in a student blogging challenge would be participating in it and actually doing a good job, so that I may get a good grade in tech class and (hopefully) meet some new people! Some other options are questions such as “Is this important to me, if so how much time do I want to spend on it.”
I am going to nominate (my friend) Megan W. because she provides sufficient details on the topic that she is talking about. She also states her point clearly in the topic. She also keeps a good portion of the typing in a blog. What I mean is, she types more than two sentences and does a good job!
I am undecided about having a blog glossary. It could help you be more organized and keep track of your blogs (like a book). But it could also be a waste of time creating it. Some people might not even know what it is or are having trouble finding what it is. If it is a uncommon thing that is unknown by most people there might not even be a point in creating it. You would have to find the glossary and then scroll down it to find what you want, but you could have found it before.
I only have 17 comments on the 30 some posts that I have made. I don’t know if that is a good thing or bad but it is what it is. Out of the hundreds of people that are part of this blogging challenge I am at least glad that mine has been visited! I have been in this blogging challenge for a while now and not many of my posts have been visited, but I will have to work on my skills on being more descriptive then!
I would continue blogging because it helps me practice my typing skills. I am a slow typer so all the practice that I can get is good! Another reason to continue blogging would be in a way it expresses you. If you are descriptive enough when typing your blogs, people will understand you better and think your smarter! Blogging also can help you meet new people, lets say you type a post on your favorite animal and someone sees the post and agrees with you. You then would have made a friend!
This is a student on a blogging challenge. A time that I was glowing with pride would be when I received my black belt. It was on April 14 of 2011. I presented my made up combination of kicks, punches and jumps and the criteria we had to learn. When I received my black belt I gave the instructor (Master Krenz) rolos because they are his favorite food. I remember having the hugest smile on my face as the past three years of training for this is now over. Now my new life as a black belt can begin! 🙂
